Tepoztlán as seen from the pyramid-home of "El Tepozteco"
A brilliant artform has developed in Tepoztlán, Morelos, Mexico, a town rich in tradition and stubbornly independent.
Located just two hours from Mexico City, but protected by steep cliffs, in Tepoztlán traditional culture has survived innundations of Mexico City weekenders, wealthy expats, tourists, New Agers, hippies, and all-consuming globalization projects.
